Lace

Lace skirts are in! This spring be sure to purchase one. They go well with a simple shirt and sandals. You can purchase one at almost any retail store. They are affordable and fashionable, so be sure to get one!

Get Colorful

This spring open your mind up to different colors! If you are the type to wear dull colors, brighten up your wardrobe with neon colors. Pink, orange, blue, green, and yellow are very common spring colors. Be sure to mix and match your outfits to make yourself look cute and unique!

This outfit is perfect for a work outfit. I love the color too! The purse isnt the cutest but I like how it ties in the color scheme of the shirt and the heels. When picking out your outfits, the best way to tie in a color from your outfit is to match a purse to that color.
"cool day at work" by tina-harris ❤ liked on Polyvore everything but that purse with the ugly bow
Spring is just right around the corner! This flower print skirt is very cute, and can coordinate with any color of top. You could wear heels, flats, or sandals with this outfit. Carrying a cross body purse or the purse shown in the picture would go well with this outfit and wearing your hair down and wavy would complete this look

What NOT to wear

Clutches and purses are a great accent to any outfit! However, you have to have good taste. These are the top ten things that are never good...with any outfit...

Here are some different ways to wear a scarf. I found this on Pinterest and there are many more ideas on there as well!

Foundation

When you pick a foundation, make sure you follow these simple but important tips.
1. Make sure your skin is hydrated.
2. Know your skin type. (Dry, Oily, Sensitive)
3. Match the foundation by testing a little bit on your jaw line and walk into natural light. If it disappears, it is the best shade for your skin.
4. When the seasons change, your skin color changes. You need to change foundations with the different seasons.
5. If you have any scars or marks, use foundation primer.
6. Use concealer because it will save the amount of foundation you use if you use it to blend the color.

Bed Head

Spring/Summer 2013 Hairstyle Trend: How To Get Dirty, Bed Head, Just Woke Up Hair:
1) Prep hair by spritzing lightly with a spray gel & blow dry with fingers or a brush, parting in the middle looks best but you can part it however you want.
2) Follow with an all-over light mist of firm hold hair spray & rake through with fingers
3) Beginning at the front & working backwards, divide hair into one-inch horizontal slices, rolling each section around two fingers as if to create a loose pin curl.

4) Press the curl with a flat iron for just a few seconds, then release to let hair fall into easy, relaxed bends.
5) Rake through with fingers to create unaffected texture, finishing with a mist of firm hold hair spray if needed.

This is an easy way for you to put your hair up for Prom. First bump your hair just a little bit on the top. Next you need to french braid your hair to about the middle of your head. After that, use bobby pins to make sure that the braid will not come undone. With the remaining hair, twist it into a bun and bobby pin it some more. Finally, use hairspray to keep your hair looking its best!
This outfit is nice enough for almost any occasion. It can be worn at school or you can wear it when you go out shopping with friends. The colors are very neutral but the yellow flats make the outfit pop.
Prom is coming up! Have you found your dress yet? If not you should be looking or at least deciding what you want. Some things you should think about are the color, the style, sparkles, shoes, jewelry, hair, and make-up to match the dress. This dress was found at magicmomentsprom.com. Check out their site!

Nail Polish

Pinned Image

This nail polish is the perfect spring color! It will match with almost anything. This color is called "Cute as a Button" if you are interested in buying it. If you dont want to pay to get your nails done, there are some tips on buzzfeed.com that may be useful when fixing your nails. Here are some from that website.
1. Use ice water to dry your nails in 3 minutes.
2. Fix a broken nail using a teabag and nail glue.
3. Take a part of a loofah and use the netting to get a fishnet manicure look.
4. Spray your nails with oil spray to set your manicure and prevent smudges.
5. Erase your mistakes by dipping a small brush into nail polish remover.
6. Apply multiple thin coats instead of one thick coat.
7. Apply Vaseline to your cuticles to protect your skin from nail polish strokes.
8. Use a toothpick to draw on your nails.
9. Stick a pin into the end of a pencil eraser, dip it in polish,  and create polka dots.
10. Use a band aid to get the perfect french tip.
11. Use nail polish thinner (not nail polish remover) to revive thick, goopy bottles of nail polish.
12. Soak your nails in a mixture of water and vinegar before applying nail polish.

Scrunch

On these rainy & snowy days its always nice to not have to spend lot of time on your hair.
If your hair has a wave in it, is naturally curly, or you have a perm your hair will look nice if you scrunch it.
Some girls use hair gel, others use hair mousse, I prefer hair whip.
Mousse & gel make your hour hair hard & crunchy, whip makes your hair soft without getting frizzy.
(Pantene's hair whip is about $7 at Walmart)
